I have fallen in love with these cute little gnomes! This suite is so versatile and comes with all the bells and whistles. I don’t know about you but I enjoy creating something fun and outside the traditional lines of Christmas.
Did you know that some pages and images of our Designer Series Paper (DSP) are created to where the dies simply cut the image out of the paper? Here is what I mean:
See how the die fits perfectly over the image allowing for a clean cut. No stamping involved! This feature is nice when you have to create a super quick card.
Here are some cards that I have created using this suite and just die cutting out the gnome I wanted.
Both of these cards are the same format but you can see how different they look by cutting out different images with the die cuts. I embossed both with the winter snow embossing folder and added some bling by using the rhinestone jewels and linen thread. The only thing I stamped was the sentiment.
Another fun technique I would like to point out is the spine of the card. I scored the front of the card at 1 ” and adhered it on the inside with glue. It gave this card another unique perspective.
Here are some other cards I created with this suite. I even included a card using the “traditional” Christmas colors.
On this “traditional” Christmas card I colored our basic rhinestone jewels with our Evening Evergreen Stampin Blends. If you look above you will see the rhinestones are clear in color. I wanted something more to pop out on this card.
