Copy And Share Everything ➡ What does it mean?

CASE = Copy and Share Everything!

Have you heard of copy and share everything when it comes to card making? If you have, have you wondered what exactly it means for you in your own crafting? If I answered stress-free, guilt-free, quick-and-easy-gorgeous designs, how would that grab you?

Let’s dive in a bit deeper.

Case-It Cards!

When you see a card you absolutely LOVE copy it! Some of my designs I’ve seen in a Stampin’ Up! publication (a catalogue, online, in an email) or even another demonstrators blog oh and I can’t forget Pinterest. I copy them exactly or I change mine up a little a bit.

Let’s take a closer look at how you can copy and share everything too.

Let’s start with my favorite lately……. Gnomes! The image below was the inspiration I saw from Laura Seki.

Here are my cards that I created ⬇. There is not a whole lot of difference. I changed up the embossing folder for the snowy background. I changed the sentiments and used the Deckled Rectangle Dies. I also used the splatter technique to “speckle” the sentiment.

On the next card I opted to cut out a large female gnome instead of a small one. I changed the sentiment on this, used a different snow embossing folder and used the Deckled Rectangle dies. And last I added a couple of Rhinestones and “speckled” the sentiment.

The next group up I definitely seen some inspiration! The middle top card. I copied the layout of the 3 Gnomes and the sentiment. I loved the colors that @stamingala but I as I was creating it I decided to use a different cardstock to coordinate with the DSP I had.

On my card below I opted to die cut the 3 gnomes out of the DSP vs. die cutting out each gnome piece and gluing them together along with using a lighter color of cardstock, Pool Party. I adhered my ribbon differently but kept my sentiment the same.

What’s Great about Casing?

You don’t need to have exactly the same items as the inspiration you found. On the sample above, I didn’t have the exact DSP that was used so I used what DSP I had that came with the bundle. I didn’t have the same ribbon @stampingala used so I used a ribbon in the Pool Party color that I had. Get it?

You have total control over colors, layouts and accessories so it suits YOUR personality! You can add MORE or LESS of everything depending on your own crafting style.

If you are having a creative block and nothing is coming to mind there are SOOOOO many samples out there to copy. Pick one and start working on it and I bet your creative juices will start flowing again. I know I have been there done that.

What are you going to CASE?

Now you know how easy it is to Copy and Share Everything (aka CASE), why not give it a try? Grab your catalog and take a peek at one of those pages you have dogeared or tagged with a sticky note. Then see which of your supplies will work to make it your own.

Or if you want, make the card above using the exact design and supplies, feel free to CASE it! If you are wondering what is on the gnomes beard I used our Wink of Stella Pen. It adds a little “glittery or sparkly” to any design.

Here are the supplies I used:

I would love to see & hear about what you CASED! Leave me a comment.
