Are you wondering what Slimline Cards & Envelopes are? It is the newest craze in card making. I have thoroughly enjoyed making these! First let’s take a look at my video below! ⬇
Slimline Cards
I hope you enjoyed my video and that you were able to get a better understanding of how to make a slimline card. They have been really fun to create and the feedback I have received from the recipients has been amazing! Of course they will cost you more to mail them but not to much more.
I am envisioning a future class coming up so stay tuned. Here are the measurements for the card. Remember the card takes one full piece of card stock which is 8 1/2″ x 11″. Take a picture or quickly make your own template while you are here on my blog. If you are like me I can’t remember the exact measurements and it is so much easier to grab my template and begin creating.
Slimline Envelopes
What’s long and skinny and holds your handmade slimline cards? Slimline Envelopes! Here is a picture of the measurements to make your own should you choose. Again you will need a 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of cardstock to start:
My squiggly line ? means to cut out that part of the cardstock and discard. Don’t forget to make yourself a template as it is easier to grab that to refer too. After you have made a couple of envelopes you will find it is pretty easy.
