STAMPIN’ UP!’S 2023 COLOR REFRESH

Stampin’ Up! must update its color offerings from time to time to stay ahead of trends (and to set them) – and no one “does color” like Stampin’ Up!. When they evaluates and refreshes the colors in the current offerings, they give us fresh new colors to play with and bring back some of our past favorites.

Last week Stampin’ Up! shared the Color Refresh that launches in the 2023 Annual Catalog. I’m SO EXITED about the updates! While it’s sad to see some go-to colors retire, that sadness is offset by the joy of all the new colors we get to play with.

Today I’m sharing the Retiring Colors, the Returning Colors and the New Colors (including the 2023-2025 In Colors). I don’t want to overload you today, so I’ll have a lot more to share about the 2023-2025 In Colors later. How fun are we?!

Retiring Core Colors

To make room for the new and exciting colors on their way to us, we have to move out some colors we’ve been working with for years. If you reach for one of these colors every time you make a card, then you might feel a little emptiness in your upcoming crafting time, but I promise that will change as you pull in the gorgeous, new colors that are filling their space.

Here are the eleven core colors that are retiring when the new catalog launches on May 2, 2023 (or when products sell out):

If you love any of these colors, stock up TODAY. To shop by your favorite colors, CLICK HERE.

In addition to these colors, four of the 2021-2023 In Colors will retire when the new catalog launches on May 2, 2023 (or when products sell out) – Polished Pink, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Pale Papaya. You’ll see Fresh Freesia in the discussion below. ♥

Returning Core Colors

If you’ve been a Stampin’ Up! enthusiast for many years, a look at the seven returning core colors will take you down memory lane. All seven of these colors are former In Colors that are back. Yay! Here’s a look at the seven returning core colors:

I have loved working with all of these colors and look forward to welcoming them back to my craft shelves.

New Core Colors

If the returning favorites are not exciting enough, Stampin’ Up! is filling gaps left by retiring colors with four brand new core colors. While you may be familiar with the colors shown above, these are all new (and, might I say, all gorgeous):

How absolutely exciting are these new additions?!

2023-2025 In Colors

When a new Annual Catalog is released, color excitement usually centers around the five new In Colors that are being introduced. Even with all the exciting updates above, Stampin’ Up! is giving us five new In Colors – and these never disappoint. I’ll share more about these gorgeous colors later, but here’s a look at Stampin’ Up!’s 2023-2025 In Colors:

These five beauties will be around for two years – and maybe, one day, we’ll see some of them added back to Stampin’ Up!’s core colors. For the next two years, though, you can bet we’ll see them in all sorts of papers, ribbons and embellishments.

Putting it all Together

Now that I’ve walked you through the retiring colors, returning colors and new colors, I’d love to introduce you to a video from Stampin’ Up! that walks you through all of this information. You can see that video here:

Other Retiring Products

Along with these updates with the release of the new Annual Catalog, Stampin’ Up! has shared the retiring products from the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog and 2022 Annual Catalog. There are a lot of retiring products AND a lot of great discounts. The Last Chance Sale starts April 4 – I’ll share more about these discounted products (including the full lists) this weekend so you can be prepared for the sale that kicks off on Tuesday.

Thanks for stopping by and I welcome any questions or comments!
