As a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, you’ll have access to a network of talented and supportive crafters. You can connect with other demonstrators online and at events, and you’ll always have someone to turn to for inspiration and advice.
We welcome everyone to join Stampin’ Up! and the Cici’s Crafty Creators and there is never any pressure to sell, teach, demonstrate or have a business – UNLESS that is what YOU want to do! Many join for reasons listed above, and because joining truly is risk free.
When you join Stampin’ Up! by purchasing the starter kit, you will be able to take advantage of all of the benefits of being an active Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator for at least four months. (actual time depends on the month of the year you join).
If during that time, you submit orders for yourself or customers of at least $300, you get to stay another three months and keep your discount and benefits. If not, that’s OK – you just go back to being a regular full-price paying customer.

What are the minimum sales requirements?
You only need to submit 300 CSV (Commissionable Sales Volume) in sales per quarter. That is less than an average Stampin’ Up! workshop! Also, you can submit your sales in any increment you wish and still receive your 20 percent discount and commission (or 25 percent if you become a bronze elite title or above).
What requirements are there to be a Demonstrator?
The only requirement to remain active is to make your quarterly minimum. If you can’t make your quarterly minimum you’ll go into pending. If you are unable to pull out of pending Stampin’ Up! will turn off your demo id. You are always welcome to join again!
What if I want to do this as a hobby and not necessarily a business?
Stampin’ Up! & myself support all demonstrators, no matter their goals or the level at which they choose to run their business. If you choose not to hold workshops, you can simply place your own orders and/or collect orders from family and friends to equal the quarterly sales minimum.
Can I join Stampin' Up! and enjoy it as a Hobby Demonstrator?
Yes, Absolutely!! I welcome hobby stampers!! That is how I started. Joining Stampin’ Up! will give you the opportunity to meet other stampers, pre-order new products and receive discounts on products.
Do I have to sell Stampin' Up! Products?
No, you can join as a hobby demonstrator.
Do I have to host classes or do workshops?
No, you are joining as an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator; therefore, you can decide how you want to run your business.
Can I be my own host?
Yes, you can be your own host anytime you want. Invite your family and friends into your home and have a workshop. You will be the host, receiving the Stampin’ Rewards, as well as the demonstrator, receiving your instant income and commission.
Can I use other products, not Stampin' Up! products?
Yes, absolutely! It’s Ok to love and enjoy all crafting products. However, if you are wanting to sell Stampin’ Up! products I would encourage you to purchase their products, get a discount and share them.

How much does it cost to get started as a demonstrator?
The Starter Kit is only $99 USD and is fully customizable. You choose up to $125 USD worth of any current Stampin’ Up! products, and you will also receive a business supplies pack containing materials you need to run your business (valued at least $35 USD).
How can I make money as a demonstrator?
You can earn money in three ways: instant or deferred income (20 or 25 percent of each order), monthly volume rebates (4-13 percent of total monthly sales), and monthly team commissions (1–6.5 percent of your recruits’ sales).
Do I have to recruit other demonstrators?
No. If you were to recruit demonstrators, you would be paid team commissions on your team’s sales, but this is a perk, not a requirement.
Where will I get project ideas for my workshops? What kind of training can I expect?
Stampin’ Up! provides dozens of training resources filled with project ideas and tips to help you run every aspect of your business, including a quarterly publication called Stampin’ Success, Demonstrator Support agents, a demonstrator-only website, and annual and seasonal catalogs.
Is Stampin’ Up! a well-known, respected company?
Since 1988, Stampin’ Up! has been selling stamps and papercrafting supplies. In that time, not only have we won industry awards and accolades, but also the loyalty and admiration of demonstrators and customers alike. And that is a trend that we work hard to maintain.
You can rest assured that the reputation of Stampin’ Up! will only continue to improve!
What if I decide that I don’t like it once I’ve started? Will I be penalized if I quit?
You may choose to stop at any time, and you will not be penalized. You simply stop placing orders. However, there are many benefits to remaining an active demonstrator. If you have any questions about Stampin’ Up! or becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, please contact your demonstrator.
Do I have to do a website, facebook etc.?
No, you don’t have to do any social media. As an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator you might decide to share on one of these platforms but it is not a requirement.
