Materials Needed

6×6 Clear Acrylic Album: This includes two clear 6″×6″ covers, binding rings, and white cardstock pages with fold-out and pocket features. You can take a look at my 6×6 Clear Acrylic Album HERE.

Storybook Moments Suite: Featuring 12×12 Designer Series Paper (DSP) with die-cut designs, frames, and coordinating elements.

Storybook Friends Die Set: Includes various frame dies and playful images.

Storybook Garden Patch Stamps and Dies: For adding garden-themed embellishments.

3×4 Flip Flaps (Flippies): Interactive elements to add photos or journaling spots.

Adhesives: Double-sided tape, glue dots, or liquid glue suitable for acrylic surfaces.

Embellishments: Tags, journaling cards, and other decorative items from the Storybook Moments Suite.

I am using my 6×6 Clear Acrylic Album. The album is made with 1/8″ thick cast acrylic and includes 2 clear 6″x6″ covers, 3 silver binding rings, and 7 white card stock pages that include 2 fold-out pages & 2 pocket pages. Let’s check out some of the gorgeous pages. First I thought I would show you the inside of the cover to give you an idea of how I created it since the cover is clear. Since the cover is clear, consider decorating the inside to create a backdrop for the album’s title or a focal image. This prevents adhesive from showing through the clear acrylic.

The Storybook Friends Die Set offers various frames that can be used to highlight photos or journaling spots. I used the Frames that come in Storybook Friends Die set. In the Storybook Moments 12×12 Designer Series Paper includes pre-cut, die-cut designs featuring playful and sweet images. These can be used as standalone embellishments or layered for added depth. There are 2 sheets of already cut, die cut designs. These die-cut designs feature playful and sweet images. These can be used as standalone embellishments or layered for added depth. I used almost a full sheet throughout this album. The images are so playful and sweet.

The next page is a pocket page where it was perfect to cut out tags from the cut apart page included in the DSP Paper. Pocket pages are perfect for to hold photos, notes, or other keepsakes. You can also use them as they are, put pictures on them or journal a few notes.

This next page I am using another frame die that comes in the set. You can use them to frame any small picture you might like or simply journal in them. I really, really like the frames! The Storybook Moments Suite includes the Storybook Garden Patch and matching dies as well. On this one I stamped up some garden tools that worked out great on this page.

The next page I would like to show you is the first fold out page of the album. It turned out really nice. Attach 3×4 flip flaps to pages to create interactive spots for additional photos or journaling. Ensure that photos are oriented correctly when adding them to these flaps. I used a 3×4 Flip Flap. I do refer to these as flippies though, like all the time lol. I put in this cute squirrel cut out, but….you can put in a picture. Look at the hidden space under the flippie! Again it can serve as a journaling spot or another photo. Oh I almost forgot, you can put two photos in this flippie so when you raise it up there is another picture. Just make sure you put it in so you can see it right side up.

Fold-out pages provide extra room for photos and embellishments. Decorate both sides to maximize the album’s capacity and visual appeal. You open up the fold out and have space for two more pictures.

Here are a couple more pages where I used the adorable rabbits and made a cute border on the right side with some more garden patch die cut designs. Use the Storybook Garden Patch stamps and dies to create garden-themed embellishments. Frames from the die set can be used creatively to highlight special moments or notes.

Next up is the second pocket page. Again, I used some of the cut outs and on one of them and I used a frame die cut and layered it on some card stock. I think it is cute all by itself but again you can put a picture on it or put a picture on the back. Don’t forget to slide other memorabilia in the pocket.

Ok I have to show you the second fold out in this book. I used another flippie but glued the cute fence & strawberries on the outside of the flippie. When doing this make sure you won’t cover up something special on the photo you use.

Here is the fold out in full length. Add personal touches such as handwritten notes, dates, or small mementos to make the album uniquely yours. Again with the cute frames!!

This last picture is the page that, well you guessed it, has two more frames! Sheesh, I really love the frames that come in the suite. Have you ever taken your photopolymer stamps and bent them a little before putting them on your acrylic block? You should try that as that is what I did for the little sentiments on each frame. Before placing them on an acrylic block, slightly bend the photopolymer stamps to fit within frames or specific areas, adding a customized touch to your designs.

By utilizing the Storybook Moments Suite, you can create a charming 6×6 clear acrylic memory album that beautifully showcases your treasured memories. This project not only preserves special moments but also serves as a delightful keepsake to share with loved ones.

So what do you think? I really enjoyed making this album as I do all my creations. I hope this has sparked your creativity and you are able to used some of these ideas on your next project.
